The Country Village is the shopping hub of Ishpeming. There are many gift shops, as well as shops that fit everyday needs of the residents of Ishpeming. These shops include Unique Treasures, Radio Shack, Country Village bookstore and Coffee, and the Country Village Cleaners. Right around the corner are Jubilee grocery store, Pamida, and Ace Hardware.

In the summer time, Country Village caters to out of town campers. One can go swimming in the pool and cook over a fire, or even go out to eat just a short walk away. Also, if one doesn't own a camper or a tent, there are vacation homes for rent. Plus, there are two hotels. Just behind the Country Village are great snowmobiling trails, which are also perfect for snowshoeing.
